The Loboc Forest camp located at Upper Bonbon, Loboc, Bohol is a wild life experience in the Philippines. The Forest camp is indeed a one-stop camp with flora and fauna in it, such as the Philippine Tarsier, the Philippine Hawk-Eagle, butterflies and many more. The floras which includes the beautiful flowering orchids, the medicinal herbs garden, the vegetables and many more. All natural and organic in the camp. The plants are fertilized with organic fertilizers, such as animal waste mixed with enzymes and some animals like pigs and chicken are fed with saw dust and desiccated coconut mixed with enzymes. The beautiful camp also features different Philippine cultures and traditions like the replica of the “atabay” (a deep well) which was the source of water in the old times and until now, the “Palidan” (threshing house), and the “Landahan”(copra dryer), and the traditional “Bahay Kubo” (nipa hut),the basic Filipino shelter. Many students or “barkadas” (group of friends) enjoy the experience being in the camp, the real outdoor camping adventure without the fear if being harmed by creatures of the wild. The area has never been tampered though it was cleaned up. You can also enjoy the zipline which is a part of the extreme camping adventure for as low as P175. And for those who wish to take the guided camp tour, you’ll only pay a minimal fee of P50. However there are some necessary discounts also, like senior citizen that will only pay P40, the children from 6 to 11 years old that will only pay P25 and the children 5 years old downwards can enter the camp free of charge.
